Screen Printing Factory Refurbishment

It’s been a year since we first started the refurbishment of our new factory in Sowerby Bridge.

Transforming the old iron works into our state of the art screen printing factory turned out to be quite a challenge!

Follow our progress in the pics below….

Shotblasting the walls of our screen printing factory in Halifax.

A huge thanks to Dave at Airline Shotblasters Bradford.

Single handedly blasted the entire building over a two week period.

Fantastic end result!

Floor restoration

One of the biggest problems we faced with the old Iron Works was the floor.

A hundred years of grime, grease and water, had created a sticky unworkable mess.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Mike, Paul and Donna at Signature Resin floors.

The time and effort they put in to sort the floor for us, was outstanding.

A brilliant, reliable company.

Roof restoration

The biggest problem we discovered was the roof.

We had varying quotes to sort the roof ranging from £2,000 – £80,000!

Vaughan Boon was the man to save the day!

Vaughan spent most of the summer weekends up there patching and replacing blue slate.

Many thanks Vaughan!

Mezzanine floor installation

After Signature flooring had layed the resin floor, we built the mezzanine.

We wanted to create more space and have our flagship SRoq auto screen printing machine in an elevated position.

The building was taking shape, and it was a nice feeling bringing her back to life..

Ink pots and organisation

George, Sean and Toby making a start on cleaning our old ink pots.

Quite a big job for the boys.

Trying to think of the exact phrase…

something about paying peanuts, you get?

Stacked and ready!

Looking so much better now!

We can lay our hands on any colour you can imagine.

Ready for screen printing all kinds of garments
